May 2021, Addressing the Mental Health Needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ students.’ Presentation to Wellington Catholic District School Board staff, and program coordinators from various Catholic school boards in the province of Ontario.

• Objective: to prepare educators to celebrate Pride in their classrooms in a mentally-healthy way. Three different webinars: Primary Focus (grades 1-3), Junior Focus (grades 4-6), Intermediate/Senior Focus (grades 7-12)

• Many program coordinators from other boards were in attendance hoping to adapt their learnings and the resources shared to their own board contexts including Brant-Haldimand Norfolk Catholic DSB, Upper Grand District School Board, Waterloo Catholic DSB, Niagara Catholic DSB, Huron Perth Catholic DSB, Simcoe-Muskoka DSB, Halton Catholic DSB, Bruce-Grey Catholic DSB, & Toronto Catholic DSB.

“Addressing the Mental Health Needs of BIPOC students.” Presentation to Wellington Catholic District School Board Employees.

• Objective: to prepare educators to celebrate Black Heritage Month in their classrooms in a mentally-healthy way. Three different webinars: Primary Focus (grades 1-3), Junior Focus (grades 4-6), Intermediate/Senior Focus (grades 7-12).

• Performed a variety of local consultations including with the Guelph Black Heritage Society to ensure content was culturally-responsive and appropriate.

• Amplified voices of the Equity committee participants to ensure those with lived experience were centered in the dialogue.
