• Objective: to prepare educators to celebrate Black Heritage Month in their classrooms in a mentally-healthy way. Three different webinars: Primary Focus (grades 1-3), Junior Focus (grades 4-6), Intermediate/Senior Focus (grades 7-12).

• Performed a variety of local consultations including with the Guelph Black Heritage Society to ensure content was culturally-responsive and appropriate.

• Amplified voices of the Equity committee participants to ensure those with lived experience were centered in the dialogue.

Called to Love can provide customized training sessions for small groups of staff or individuals in areas related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility. Our process includes consultation with Human Resources Departments in school boards or corporations to ensure sessions are appropriately tailored to the needs of each individual.

Yvonne Runstedler can work with your Human Resources department to address specific individual needs. Some services she can provide include:

• Training specific to Catholic contexts as they intersect with equity concerns.
